Photographs: Eritrean apparel on present as 62nd Grammy honours Nipsey Hussle, Bryant

Eritrea made a powerful displaying on the 62nd annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, in Los Angeles. It was all thanks to at least one man, the late Nipsey Hussle.

A-list artists together with John Legend, Kirk Franklin, DJ Khaled and Meek Mill paid tribute to Nipsey together with NBA star Kobe Bryant who died earlier on Sunday in a helicopter mishap.

Bigger than life pictures of the 2 was projected in a display screen after a tribute efficiency in honour of Nipsey. The efficiency was excessive on Eritrean tradition as many of the dancers noticed Eritrean conventional apparel.

John legend was wearing one such apparel. An all white costume with elaborate embroidery. The attires generally known as habesha outfits are frequent to individuals in Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Hussle scooped the an award which was acquired on the evening by his household. His collaboration with Hit-Boy received the award for finest rap efficiency for “Racks within the Center.”

He who was shot lifeless early 2019 at age 33, and had acquired three posthumous nominations for the Grammys. The much-loved rapper celebrated in Eritrea, Ethiopia and throughout the African continent misplaced the 2019 prize for Greatest Rap Album to Cardi B.
